Rise Beyond the Reef bridges the divide between remote communities, government and the private sector in the South Pacific, sustainably creating a better world for women and children. A Seat at the Table is one of their catalogues, combining product showcases, and education and outreach.

It’s not about helping the poor, it’s about creating value around the important role remote communities play in our world’s whole picture; it’s about valuing rather than extracting. It’s about supporting rather than directing. It’s about seeing our collective future. That’s when we all rise together.

In November 2020, Women’s Enterprise Centre (WEC), conducted a survey with 419 BC women business owners to find out what funding they need, whether they’re able to access it and what support can help them—during Covid recovery and beyond. 

This online report outlines how funders and ecosystem partners can improve their strategies and funding models to ensure women entrepreneurs have the support and tools to be full contributors to the economy in BC, and across the country.

Design and layout of an annual report and social media campaign with highlights for Crisis Intervention & Suicide Prevention Centre of B.C.

The Crisis Centre of BC is dedicated to providing help and hope to individuals, organizations, and communities. Spanning the spectrum of crisis support, suicide prevention, and postvention, the Crisis Centre engages staff and volunteers in a variety of services and programs that educate, train, and support the strength and capacity of individuals and communities.
